Effectiveness of Opioids for Chronic Pain

Secret of qigong - part 7

7 part series about the source of qigong & the mystic healing energy.

Here is a 93 year old man practising the martial art of Baguazhang, which is one of the internal styles as suggest by the scholar/martial artist: Sun Luc Tang. The other two major internal styles according to Sun were Xing Yi and Tai Chi. These internal styles focus more so on the cultivation and utilisation of Qi (vital energy) as opposed to solely physical prowess. This balance allows most of them a longer healthier life.

Primal Reflex Release Technique:

John Iams has been using a lot of the concepts I subscribe to and some of the techniques I've been using for some time with a different twist...this is pertaining to musculoskeletal work. His premise is simply that tension in the body is reflex driven and sadly this is not addressed anywhere in medical literature. The techniques are efficient and GENTLE!

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) aka Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD); as a result of the efficacy of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imagining (FMRI) this video brings new information to light on this condition, and possibly a bird's eye view of what is going on in the brain of a person suffering from chronic pain.
Here is another video on CRPS/RSD this one introduces us to a rather extreme treatment for the condition.

It seems pretty clear from these two videos that there is malfunctioning of multiple areas of the brain occurring . It would be reasonable to extrapolate that therapies which are able to cause a shift in the client's brain frequency should be able to obtain relief for these individuals. This certainly would be an area to expect benefits from the BodyTalk System.

Postural Habits and Their Problems

Neck Posture and its Problems: This video shows the pitfalls of bad posture relating to the head and neck. By stretching the head forward as shown in this edition, it can lead to many problems such as headaches/migraines, eye strain/problems neck and shoulder tension not to mention double chins.

Carrie's rule of ninety is meant to show you the correct position for when you sit down. The bad habits you will have got into mean you will need to practice these new positions regularly to be able to correct yourself when you falter.

Stress and Our Physiology

Anxiety related conditions:

In my clinic I have used the gentle non-invasive techniques of BodyTalk to help many clients with these conditions. BodyTalk does not prescribe any drugs instead it engages the Innate Consciousness of the individual to self correct the imbalances which triggered the pathology.

A type of intelligence which is more appropriate for our quality of life than our IQ.

The Heart and the many roles it play in the health of our body and mind.

The Freeze-Frame Technique:

Why is it taking Western Medicine so long to realise that FOOD MATTERS, does it not make sense to recognize the foods we eat becomes the building blocks of our physical bodies? This website is worth browsing and better yet if you can get your hands on the movie, it is worth every minute of viewing time.

Dr. Russell Blaylock, nationally recognized board-certified neurosurgeon, author and lecturer:

THE LINK BETWEEN NUTRITION AND BEHAVIOUR

This full lecture is a great eye opener for folks who are wondering if food has an impact on the behaviour of an individual, you might be surprised at the everyday simple things you ingest which are loaded with toxins and harmful for your physical and mental health.

Epigenetics

The study of our environment and our perception of it as mechanisms which control the expression of our genes. Methyl markers can turn genes on or off. We are not born with all the markers we currently have. Markers can develop over time by our life style habits which can affect generations to come without ever affecting the actual genome. This means when we shift our consciousness and hence our behaviour we are turning genes on and off and thereby making critical changes in our physiology. The BodyTalk System can address the epigenome of the individual in myriad ways to assist in attaining and maintaining a better balanced state of health.
